PROJECT OVERVIEW

An urban river project at Petersfield in Hampshire of which I had overall responsibility. The Client, the District Council, was concerned about erosion through steep reaches, potentially affecting nearby properties. The geomorphological solution was to use low check weirs, instated gravels and natural stone bank protection.  This design has been subsequently published in the CIWEM journal.
